Tony Povinelli

Tony Povinelli was appointed as Global Product Line Director – Active Aerodynamics in January 2015 and assumed the responsibility of Trim in July 2019. In this position, Povinelli is responsible for leading a global team in the pursuit, development, and business growth of Active Aerodynamic and Trim products.

In the 22 years with Magna Exteriors, Povinelli also held roles including Director, Program Manager and Engineer on Front-End Modules and Active Aerodynamic systems. Prior to Magna Exteriors, Povinelli held Engineering roles at Denso for 5 years on the development and implementation of Engine Cooling Modules.

Povinelli has more than 29 years of experience in the automotive industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
