Steven Center is a native of New York City and presently resides in Los Angeles, California. He received his undergraduate degrees in Economics, Finance and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA degree, with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Southern California. He has guest lectured at Stanford University, New York University, University of California-Irvine, San Diego State University, University of Southern California and Mount St. Mary’s College on topics ranging from marketing database development to Integrated Marketing Communications to Corporate Social Responsibility, in addition to presenting at numerous corporate and industry events.

He has spent much of his career in the automobile business working for domestic and import brand automobile manufacturers. For the past 25 years, he has filled many positions, mainly in start-up or fix-it roles at American Honda ranging from the founder of their eBusiness Division , Vice-President of the Acura Division where he set all time sales records that remain to this day, Chief Marketer of both the Honda and Acura Automobile Brands, Vice President, Environmental Business Development Office ,Vice President, Product Regulatory Office and presently as Vice President Connected and Environmental Business Development, responsible for Connected Vehicle Businesses, Advanced Powertrain products and reducing Honda’s North American carbon footprint.

Additionally, Mr. Center is currently a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the American Honda Foundation, Chairperson of the Honda Marine Science Foundation, and represents American Honda on the Executive Board of the Auto-ISAC (a DOT sanctioned body for addressing cyber-security threats to automobiles), as well as the Executive Board of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation and the College of Business Administration, San Diego State University Advisory Board.
