As Director of Global Innovation for General Motors, Rachel Kuhn is responsible for defining and incubating internal startups within GM, driving topline growth for the company.

Ms. Kuhn held a prior role as Director of Special Projects for General Motors, where she was responsible for articulating General Motors’ strategies around EV, AV, and shared mobility to drive investor insights into the company’s future value.

Previously, Ms. Kuhn was part of the founding team at Maven, GM’s mobility startup, and served as a company officer as well as the Chief Growth Officer, overseeing the LLC’s business-to-business partnerships and launching and operating Maven Gig. Within the Gig program, Ms.Kuhn and her team developed the rental program for the Chevrolet Bolt EV, including charging access, with the goal of using Maven’s commercial offerings as a foundational building block for autonomous fleet operations.

Ms. Kuhn describes herself as “not a car person, but a mobility-and-problem-solving person.” Embodying an entrepreneurial spirit, she focuses on creating corporate cultural practices that foster talent development and the creation of new core capabilities within large corporations.
