Mike Ramsey

Mike Ramsey is a Research Director at over automotive and smart mobility at Gartner Inc. He joined Gartner two years ago, leaving a 20-year career as a journalist. Prior to Gartner, he was a senior automotive reporter at The Wall Street Journal, where he covered virtually every car company and the rise of advanced technologies in vehicles during his 7-year stint there. He previously worked at Bloomberg News and many other outlets. He is based in Detroit and now focuses on advanced technologies and business model changes in the automotive industry at Gartner.
