Mark Pervine

Vice President – North America Components Sector

As Manufacturing Vice President of Components Sector, Mark Pervine oversees a team of over 11,000 employees, at 17 manufacturing sites, who produce the critical stampings, Ultium cells, castings and components for our full EV/ICE product portfolio which all are critically needed for the company’s growth strategies.  By producing all the necessary components for ICE/EV vehicles, we are uniquely positioned to be a competitive advantage for GM. All operations are aligned with GM’s vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion.

Mark also is a vocal advocate of Inclusion initiatives within the company and society. He serves as an Executive Champion and is very active in General Motors African Ancestry Network (GMAAN), an GM Employee Resource Group (ERG), served as the Executive Champion for GM’s UNCF Campaign (2021 & 2022) and Executive Champion for GM’s National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) recruiting team.  Mark also serves as a mentor within and outside of the manufacturing area to numerous proteges and has been a guest speaker at Purdue University and Ivy Tech – Fort Wayne, IN for several student organizations.

Lastly, Mark serves as a voting Board member on the Ultium Cells Board of Directors (Joint Venture with GM and LGES) that produce our battery cells for our Ultium-based EVs in North America.  He also serves on the GM-PAC (Political Action Committee) which assists with governmental affairs to position GM for the future and drive the company’s interests.
