Mark Champine was named Chief Technical Compliance Officer and head of the Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance (TSRC) organization in January 2026. In this role, he leads global efforts to ensure the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and technical integrity across the company.

He brings more than three decades of experience across engineering, quality, compliance, and customer experience. Since joining the company in 1996, he has held multiple leadership roles spanning Transmission & Driveline Engineering, Electrified Powertrain Programs, Quality, and Customer Experience. Prior to this appointment, he served as senior vice president, head of North America engineering technical centers.

Champine has extensive expertise in propulsion-system engineering, with leadership roles ranging from electrified powertrain development to driveline quality. He is also executive sponsor of the Stellantis DiverseAbilities Network business resource group (BRG). Stellantis supports 11 employee-driven BRGs dedicated to enhancing the company’s work culture through networking, mentoring, and community engagement.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University, a master’s degree in engineering management, and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
