Mamatha Chamarthi

Chief Digital Officer, ZF Friedrichshafen AG Senior Vice President and Executive Lead, India Technology Center

In her current role as chief digital officer since 2016, Mamatha Chamarthi drives ZF’s digitalization strategy as well as the use of digital technologies to change business models and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities. Ms. Chamarthi facilitates the process of identifying and evaluating external influences as well as internal opportunities, skills and strengths at ZF to prepare the company for the future.

Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Chamarthi has acquired more than 20 years of experience, including positions in the automotive, financial services, and energy industries as well as ZF’s Active and Passive Safety Technology Division as former chief information officer. Ms. Chamarthi holds a Master of Science in computer science and software engineering, a Master of Arts in English, and two Master of Business Administration degrees.

In addition to her position as chief digital officer, Ms. Chamarthi also leads the recently inaugurated ZF India Technology Center in Hyderabad, India.
