Kristin Welch

Kristin Welch is the Head of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at SPLT. She manages successful teams in the U.S., Mexico and soon to be in multiple locations throughout Europe. SPLT is a software company transforming mobility by integrating people and technology, starting with a safe and secure ride sharing application.

Building upon a versatile, robust and easy to use mobility platform, SPLT is now moving into the multi-modal transportation arena including carsharing, bus integration, fleet utilization and non-emergency medical transportation. Ms. Welch aligns SPLT with strategic partners and is very focused on the future of mobility and the global expansion of SPLT. She believes that a small company can make large scale change when partnered with OEMs, smart cities and beyond.

Ms. Welch came to SPLT just over a year ago, after completing an MBA at the University of Michigan and looking for a more mission-driven role in business. Since then, she has devoted her full attention to the emerging field of social and environmental sustainability, starting in the tech industry in Detroit. Her previous experience was in global client engagement with Deloitte, the multi-national consulting and accounting firm. She resided in Boston, Zurich, London and New York City, focusing on key accounts and innovative projects such as the incorporation of Indian practice offices into global teams, cross-border tax advisory services, and compensation planning.

Ms. Welch serves on a number of Detroit-area boards. Ultimately, she (and SPLT) envision a future where sustainable, reliable, and affordable mobility access is available to all.
