Karthik Krishnamurthy

Karthik Krishnamurthy is the Global Strategy and Business Development Leader for Automotive Manufacturing and Supply Chain at AWS. In this role, Karthik is responsible for building AWS’s business strategy, solution priorities and GTM programs by working backwards from customers. He works with Auto Suppliers, OEMs, dealerships and startups to help them envision how technologies such as AI, ML and purpose-built industrial services & solutions offered by AWS can help transform their business.

Prior to his current role at AWS, Karthik Krishnamurthy was the BD lead for Amazon exports business, where he led critical cross border supply chain initiatives for Amazon.com. He has 12+ years of industry experience working for Auto OEMs and suppliers such as Toyota, TVS and as part of consulting engagements at EY, leading activities such as production ramp ups, process optimizations, line automations and supplier quality management.

Karthik Krishnamurthy received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering and went on to receive his Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from University of Wisconsin Madison.
