Stamping Technology Senior Program Manager

Julia Hawley was appointed Stamping Technology Senior Program Manager, FCA – North America in January 2016. In this position, Hawley is responsible for program management of stamping engineering and die manufacturing for the Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer new model programs. Prior to this position, she was Manager of Electromechanical Supplier Quality.

Hawley joined Chrysler Corporation in 1994 as a Manufacturing Specialist for Stamping Technology. From 1994 through 2002, Hawley held a series of positions with increasing responsibility within the Stamping organization until she chose to take a job-share assignment, allowing her more time to spend with her four children. In 2010, Hawley returned to a full-time position in Purchasing as a Product Development Program Manager, followed by a number of positions in Supplier Quality.

Prior to joining Chrysler, Hawley worked at General Motors Chevrolet Coil Spring and Bumper Plant where she held several positions including Controls and Facilities Engineer and Senior Manager of production and maintenance.

Hawley earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Math/Computer Science from Lawrence Technical University in Southfield, Mich.  Hawley completed her Juris Doctor at Detroit College of Law (1993) and successfully passed the Bar Exam.
