Hannah Parish is the global director of ARĪV, General Motors’ eBike start-up brand. She leads the strategic development of the ARĪV business and manages the brand’s marketing.

Ms. Parish joined General Motors in 2017 as the director for Urban Mobility Solutions, where she drove strategy for alternate and micro-mobility transportation solutions. She was promoted to global director of ARĪV in 2018.

Ms. Parish is a 15-year business and marketing veteran specializing in developing brands. Her previous positions include North American marketing director at Cannondale from 2016-2017, marketing manager at the J.M. Smucker Company from 2013 to 2016 and Canada head of marketing at Specialized Bicycle Components from 2011 to 2013. She has also held various brand and marketing positions at Novartis, General Mills and Pearson.

Ms. Parish holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from McGill University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Schulich School of Business.

Ms. Parish lives in Toronto, Canada. She is passionate about cycling, from mountain biking to road cycling to racing, and her life’s goal is to get as many people on bikes as possible. She strongly supports the advancement of women in business and sports. She sits on the board of directors of Toronto’s chapter of Women in Transportation and Cycling Industries Europe.
