Mr. Post has served as Lordstown Motor’s Vice President of Engineering since November 2020. Mr. Post also was LMC’s Chief Engineer from November 2019 until October 2020.   Mr. Post is responsible for LMC’s total vehicle engineering, from architecture to release, validation, certification, and launch. His vehicle scope includes body, exterior, interior, powertrain systems, electrical systems, infotainment, chassis, safety, CAE, vehicle integration and certification of LMC’s vehicles.  Mr. Post also helps guide LMC’s technical strategy.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Post was Chief Engineer and Vice President, Engineering at Karma Automotive, a start-up OEM that designs and produces plug-in range-extended EV luxury cars, from January 2016 to November 2019, where he launched two range-extended electric vehicle luxury cars successfully into the U.S. marketplace. Prior to Karma Automotive, he was Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President, Product Development for ALTe Technologies, an electric vehicle powertrain start-up company focused on battery EV and hybrid powertrains for commercial and fleet vehicles, buses for the U.S. and Chinese markets. Mr. Post also worked 32 years at GM and Delphi Automotive in product development, manufacturing and program management leadership positions. While at GM, Mr. Post led five major new vehicle programs from concept-to-launch and into production.

Mr. Post holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Science in Management from the Sloan School at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a concentration in Operations Management and a special certificate in Management Science.
