Dan Hermer was appointed vice president GMNA Quality, in March 2020.
Prior to this role, he served as Manufacturing Executive Director, responsible for all truck manufacturing and significant manufacturing in Mexico and stamping, a position he held since July 2014.
Hermer began his GM career in 1984 at the Oshawa fabrication operations. Over the course of his career with GM, he has held several positions in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and quality, including Plant Manager of the Oshawa Assembly Plants and Executive Director ME Global Manufacturing Program Management.
Hermer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University at Kingston and a Master of Science, Manufacturing Management from Kettering. He also completed the Transformational Leadership program from Stanford.
