Claus Moehlenkamp is the CEO of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, a longstanding technology expert and market leader in sealing technology and electric mobility solutions worldwide. With its unique materials and technology expertise, the company is a proven supplier for demanding products and applications, as well as a development and service partner to customers in the automotive industries and in general industries.

As CEO, Mr. Moehlenkamp is responsible for setting all aspects of the company’s strategic vision, overseeing its diversified portfolio of industrial products and services, identifying growth and acquisition opportunities and maintaining a global corporate environment founded on innovation, quality, sustainability and value creation. In 2017, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies generated sales of about €2.3 billion and employed approximately 15,000 associates.

In addition to his responsibilities as CEO of Freudenberg’s largest business group, Mr. Moehlenkamp is member of the Executive Committee of the Freudenberg Group, the Director of Freudenberg-NOK Asia Holding Co. Pte Ltd, Chairman of Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership, and a Board Member to NOK-Freudenberg Group China.

Mr. Moehlenkamp has devoted his career Freudenberg Sealing Technologies and the automotive industry. He joined the company in 1994 as a key account manager in its Automotive Division handling Daimler AG. Two years later he was promoted to the Director of Automotive Sales for the company’s entire European operations. In 2001, Mr. Moehlenkamp was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Freudenberg’s Chassis Product Division overseeing all aspects of the company’s chassis business in North and South America. He was promoted to CEO of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies’ European operations in 2005 and took on his global role in 2011.

Mr. Moehlenkamp concentrated on engineering in his studies at the Holstein Business School in Elmshorn, Germany. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences North Academy with a Diploma as industrial engineer in 1993.

In addition to his various roles within Freudenberg, Mr. Moehlenkamp also serves on the administrative and advisory boards of Huber Packaging Group and serves as a supervisory board member for Webasto SE.
