Robert Young

Robert Young is the Group Vice President of Purchasing Supplier Development at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA).  He is responsible for overseeing all vehicle parts and materials and indirect manufacturing procurement, supplier development, and preparation for TMNA Research & Development.  Mr. Young is located at Toyota’s Research & Development headquarters in York Township, Michigan.

 Mr. Young joined Toyota in 1995 and progressed through a series of positions in the Purchasing division including several buying and Department General Manager roles.

 Mr. Young is currently serving as Chairman of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) and is on the Executive Committee of Ann Arbor SPARK.

Mr. Young has a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University.
