Bo Andersson

Bo Andersson is President & CEO of Yazaki North & Central America and President of Yazaki Europe. He joined the company in July 2017 as President of Europe, adding President & CEO of North & Central America to his role in March 2018. He is responsible for more than 140,000 employees and $8 billion in revenue.

Mr. Andersson started his career with SAAB Automotive AB as a Purchasing Manager. He was promoted to Purchasing Vice President in 1990 and in 1993 he relocated to Detroit to join General Motors where he held various executive positions. From 2001 to 2009 he was the GM Global Vice President of Purchasing. In 2009, Mr. Andersson joined the GAZ Group as its President and in 2013, he was appointed President of JSC AvtoVAZ, Russia’s largest automotive manufacturer.

Born in 1955 in Falkenberg, Sweden, Mr. Andersson graduated from Stockholm and Harvard University in Business and Management.
