Alex Pazuchanics serves as the Mobility Solutions Manager for the Seattle Department of Transportation. He manages a team providing a robust set of reliable and sustainable travel options and shaping the future of mobility in a rapidly growing city during an era of dynamic changes in the transportation space. His portfolio includes transportation demand management and mode shift strategies, shared and micro-mobility, and vehicle electrification and automation.
Previously, he was the first Assistant Director for Planning, Policy, and Permitting at the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure. Alex has taught at Carnegie Mellon University, testified before Congress on Smart City policy, and is a former member of the Pennsylvania Autonomous Vehicle Policy Task Force. Alex is a graduate of George Washington University and Carnegie Mellon University.
