Alan D. Whitted was appointed Head of Press Shops & Dies, FCA – Global in November 2011. In this position, he has worldwide responsibility for the Company’s Stamping Engineering, Production and Die Manufacturing for all new model programs, projects and facilities.

Previously, Mr. Whitted was Head of Advanced Stamping Manufacturing Engineering, an appointment he received in January 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Whitted was Center Manager for all stamping-related activities at the Brampton Assembly Plant in Brampton, Ontario.

Mr. Whitted joined Chrysler Corporation in 1992 in the Manufacturing organization. His work and academic background also includes:

Mr. Whitted earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
