Anne is a Managing Director in Ernst & Young’s Detroit Indirect Tax practice. She focuses on assisting clients with capital investment, sustainability, and headcount initiatives within the US and globally.  This includes comprehensive site-selection services and pursuing, securing, and subsequently complying with a multitude of state, local and federal credits, incentives, grants, loans, and subsidies. She has extensive experience with advising domestic and foreign clients on multi-billion dollar “mega projects” and the unique strategies and implications associated with such projects, particularly within the chemical, mobility, and heavy manufacturing sectors.

 

Anne also works with clients to assess their sustainability plans to pursue and implement funding opportunities through tax credits and U.S. Department of Energy grant and loan programs under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act and other decarbonatization regimes.  In addition, Anne serves clients in the public-sector including municipalities and economic development entities with strategy development, benchmarking, incentive cost analyses, program implementation and compliance.

 

Anne is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Michigan.  She earned a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.  She serves as a member of the Tax Advisory Committee for the Michigan Chamber and is an active member of several professional accounting and taxation associations.
