Francisco Sandoval-Saqui has held several positions in the public sector in the last 20 years. He has been working for Mexico’s Ministry of the Economy, first as an advisor to the Undersecretary for International Trade Negotiations conducting statistics and economic analysis from 1996 to 2001, and later as Economic Advisor to the Ministry of the Economy’s Trade and NAFTA Office at the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, DC from 2001 to present.
Mr. Sandoval-Saqui holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL) in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM) in Mexico City with a specialization in International Economics and Industrial Organization
