Carol Jean (“CJ”) Milner is Director, Non-Production Purchasing, Purchasing Strategy & Cost Control, and Supplier Diversity.  She was appointed to this position in June 2020.

In her role, Milner oversees the procurement of all services and related commodities for the U.S., Mexico and Canada. She also has executive responsibility for purchasing strategy, budgets, forecasts, and results.  Her span of responsibility extends to Supplier Relations, Supplier Diversity initiatives, and business continuity management of supply risks associated with capacity matters, financial distress, and disasters.

Nissan’s Supplier Diversity programs aim to identify and cultivate relationships with supplier partners that reflect the company’s diverse customer base.  Her Supplier Relations focus encourages greater creativity and quality, while helping Nissan create the optimized solutions to achieve supply chain sustainability, economic growth and better results.

Previously, Milner was director, Global Supplier Account Officer for Nissan and Renault, S.A., where she was responsible for Exhaust/Fuel system global suppliers. Prior to that, she was senior manager, Vehicle Purchasing in Purchasing’s Vendor Tooling group in 2010.

During her career, Milner has also held various positions in the company’s Finance group at Nissan Technical Center North America in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Milner holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Western International College and an MBA from Wayne State University. She is currently based at Nissan Americas Headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.
