Propulsion Technologies and Energy Infrastructure

The Propulsion Technologies and Energy Infrastructure (PTEI) group researches all aspects of vehicle propulsion including; policy (emissions, fuel economy, GHG), technology strategy, energy infrastructure, and how customers may respond to new technologies.  The group focuses on critical drivers of change, and emphasizes bringing diverse stakeholders together to better understand the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing North American and global vehicle propulsion landscape. PTEI is also home to CAR’s Advanced Propulsion Thought Leadership Roundtable.
