Katie Roco

Katie Roco joined Faurecia in 2005 as a Build Coordination Engineering. Before assuming her current role, Roco also served as a Product Engineer, Program and Development Manager, and a Design and Development Manager for Faurecia Interior Systems North America.

As Customer Engineering Director for a major customer in Faurecia Interiors, she is responsible for managing product innovation, production design, and product development for all respective customer programs.

With over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, Roco also worked for Daimler Chrysler before moving to Faurecia.

Beyond her direct role, Roco is also on the board of WiM (Women in Manufacturing) and an active participant with Inforum, a professional Michigan organization to accelerate careers for women and boost talent initiatives for companies.

With a mission to develop people and drive change, Roco is a trained Faurecia mentor, has been selected multiple times as an employee who embodies Faurecia’s leadership values, and is a lead coordinator for Faurecia’s annual charity program, FUELS.

Roco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State and an MBA from Oakland University.
