Craig Renneker

Renneker joined American Axle Manufacturing in January 2019.  He is responsible for all product engineering activities for AAM’s Driveline division.

Renneker retired from Ford Motor Company after 18-1/2 years as Chief Engineer in Transmission & Driveline Engineering.   During that time, he oversaw the development and launch of 18 new automatic transmissions, hybrid and electric drives.

Prior to Ford, he spent 9 years at Daimler-Chrysler (FCA) and 7 years at General Motors, all in automatic transmission development.

Renneker has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, 1987
