Several key technological breakthroughs lie at the heart of the evolution of connected and automated vehicle technology.  These include advancements in sensor technology (such as improved Lidar), artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, as well as other technologies, including infrastructure improvements.  This session will examine progress in the development of these critical building blocks needed for deployment of highly automated vehicles.
