Jay Sackett

Jay Sackett is the general manager for the Body Design Engineering II division at Toyota Technical Center (TTC), located in Ann Arbor, Mich. TTC is Toyota’s North American R&D center and is a division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, North America, Inc. (TEMA).

Sackett joined TTC in 1994 as an engineer in the body functional hardware group. In 2004, Sackett was promoted to manager and spent three years in the Vehicle Evaluation and Engineering group responsible for closure and vision system reliability.
In 2010, he was promoted to general manager, exterior lighting and body exterior functional hardware in Engineering Design I.
Sackett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
