Dr. Samit Ghosh

Dr. Samit Ghosh is President and CEO of P3’s automotive division in North America, a leading international consulting, testing and engineering solutions company.  Since 2005, Dr. Ghosh has been responsible for leading the company’s growth in the U.S. automotive industry.

In his prior roles as a Principal and Executive at P3 in Germany, Canada and the U.S., Dr. Ghosh consulted for leading automotive companies in the fields of advanced propulsion systems (hybrid, fuel cell and electric), conventional powertrain and connected vehicle technology (infotainment, telematics and V2X systems).

Dr. Ghosh has been closely involved with the early e-Mobility programs of top European and U.S. OEMs, and continues to be active in this field. He is experienced in automotive product development, management processes, program management, technology and innovation management along with international development cooperation.

He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, a Dipl.-Ing. Maschinenbau (MSME) from RWTH University in Aachen, Germany, and is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Dr. Ghosh is also responsible for developing the K-12 V2X curriculum in Michigan. He is a member of the German American Chamber of Commerce and the Alumni Association North America for RWTH University in Aachen. In 2010, Dr. Ghosh was recognized with the Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40 Award.
