President, Faurecia Clean Mobility North America
David DeGraaf joined Faurecia in November 2014 as the president of Faurecia’s Clean Mobility (FCM) division in North America. In this role, Mr. DeGraaf is responsible for all operational aspects of Faurecia’s North American emissions control technologies business, including customer strategy and policy, program management, manufacturing, purchasing, finance and human resources. Mr. DeGraaf oversees fourteen FCM manufacturing plants, one technical center and one customer center.
Prior to joining Faurecia, Mr. DeGraaf was vice president and general manager of JCI Power Solutions, Original Equipment (OE) Group – Americas Region.
Mr. DeGraaf is a retired Air Force Major and was a participant in the 1994 Goodwill Games, 1995 & 1999 Pan Am Games and 1996 Olympics. He has served as a member of several boards, including the Zeeland/Holland (West Coast) Chamber of Commerce & Board of Directors, and Congressman P. Hoekstra’s Academy Selection Committee and Interview Board. He also served as a former Athlete Representative to the Board of Directors for the United States Team Handball Federation.
Mr. DeGraaf holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. In 2016, he was named one of Automotive News Rising Stars, an annual program honoring North American automotive executives who are young, entrepreneurial-minded and possess the talent needed to become industry leaders of tomorrow.
