While many automotive suppliers, as well as automakers, have struggled over the past several years, several suppliers have found new, innovative ways to thrive in this business environment.  These firms, through strategies ranging from capturing a growing trend in the automotive industry to selling to other industries, hold valuable lessons for suppliers who continue to struggle. 

This workshop will discuss the strategies that have made these firms successful, how these strategies were executed, and how they can be applied by other suppliers.  The presenters will outline the decision path that drove them to pursue a non-traditional path to success, the challenges encountered, and the impact this strategy has had on their firm.  Emphasis will be placed on lessons that other suppliers can learn from the presenting firms and apply at their own company.
