Where and when can I pick up my conference materials?

The registration desk is in the lobby area at the base of the tower. We recommend that you pick up your name badge and conference materials at early registration on Sunday, July 31st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. or on Tuesday, August 2nd from 3:30–7:00 p.m. The registration desk is also open during the conference sessions, opening on Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. and on Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 a.m.

What is the appropriate dress for the conference?

Business casual is appropriate. Some attendees choose business attire (suits or sport coats), particularly on Wednesday and Thursday. Others wear more casual polo shirts and slacks.

Are meals included as part of the registration package?

Yes; continental breakfast and lunch are served each day. Social hours are hosted on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. In addition, registration on Wednesday or Thursday includes a dinner (hopefully outside, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay).

What time and where is lunch served?

Monday and Tuesday: 12:00–2:00 p.m. (buffet, Governors EF)
Wednesday: 12:00–1:00 p.m. (sit-down lunch, Michigan Ballroom, Tower AB)
Thursday: 12:00–1:00 p.m. (Governors AB, Tower AB)
Friday: 12:30 p.m. (box lunch, Governors Pre-function area)

Can my spouse/partner attend any of the social events?

Yes! Your spouse or partner is welcome at all of the social hours and the Thursday evening dinner.

What is the appropriate dress for the social hours and dinner?

These are very informal events. Attire will vary from sport coats to polo shirts and slacks (for men) and from summer dresses and skirts to pants and shirts (for women).

What happens if I need to cancel as we get closer to the conference?

The first thing to do would be to find a colleague who would be interested in replacing you. If your colleagues are already registered or unable to attend, please inform us in writing that you must cancel. To receive a refund (minus the $100 handling charge), we must receive your request in writing before July 15, 2005. We regret that we cannot accept requests for refunds after that date.
