Implications of U.S. Trade Policies: A Review of Current International Trade Issues

Wednesday, August 1, 2:50 – 4:15 PM

The Trump Administration has a keen focus on growing the U.S. automotive manufacturing base and more specifically, U.S. jobs in the industry. The reexamination and renegotiation of trade policies will impact automaker and supplier investments, assembly plant capacity and product allocation, as well as supply chain alignment.

This second session focuses on how current global trade relations affect North American automakers and suppliers.
