The Windsor –Essex County city region is Canada’s automotive capital and intellectual center of the Canadian automotive industry. The region has one the highest concentrations of automotive manufacturing activity in Canada, a technologically intensive traded industry cluster covering the full spectrum of the value chain including: research & development; software, professional services, information & communications technologies; advanced machinery, tool, die, mold (MTDM) manufacturing technologies; OE and aftermarket auto parts and vehicle assembly.
